Lyn Nofziger was a founding member of the Nixon White House staff. Under the presidency of Richard Nixon, he served as White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Special Assistant to the President for Communications, and Counselor to the President. Among his many other accomplishments, he was responsible for planning Nixon's historic visit to China.
